Albany to Perth

I'm annoyed at Tiki.

We're wandering around this morning and suddenly she leaps at my leg saying "Hold on" while seemingly pulling at the hairs. I thought it was revenge for taking her leg and hiding it yesterday, but then she flicked something away and said matter-of-factly, "Tick."

Tick.

There had been a horrible little blood-sucking arachnid on my leg and Tiki had thrown it away! That was, as far as I know, my first ever tick, and I didn't even get to see it! All the cool bugs I've gotten photos of on this trip and I miss out on my tick christening. Grrr...

We're at Albany for a few hours, then off to Perth in the afternoon. Yummy wife-person will be waiting for me there when I arrive later tonight. Yay! If any of you Perth folks who read this want to catch up with her today, I'll follow this post with a friends only post that has her mobile number. You know she'd love to see you all, especially without me around acting like a tart.
