I can take pictures of more than bugs, and tonight I not only saw the comet, I got pics! Very happy! And for those interested in more earthy things, I got pics yesterday of a dead galah. Pics below cuts for those interested.
I don't know how visible it will be when I reach Melbourne in Feb, but would be all too happy to take you somewhere out of the city in the hopes of giving you a look at it.
It's not terrible dramatic, but after the damp squib that was Halley's Comet in '86, it's wonderful :)
No luck seeing it from here so far, too much smoke haze and/or clouds, not to mention light pollution. Good shots, have you any close ups, digital or otherwise?
