Okay, I'm starting a sweep.

Nearest correct answer will get naming rights be sent a chocolate cigar. Said chocolate cigar may even taste okay, but no promises as I haven't received them yet.

Oh, just in case I was clear in my mind, not in the above reply, the $30 covers only one defective RC dalek, not a pair.

Though naturally if you still wanted one, I'd pick one that was mostly operational i.e. try to find one where it can move but not shoot.

Yeah, sorry matey. The box sets have come down in price from their original $75 cost price to me because they are a discontinued line, and they tend not to sell because of all the issues. Basically, I'm the only one silly enough to bother testing them all :)

But if you look about online, you can sometimes find them dirt cheap. I picked up my one and only Cyber Leader when I saw a battlepack online where the total cost to me would be $50 including postage from the US. Cheaper than my cost price.
