You know glitter, little sparkly bits of... whatever glitter is made of. Crushed and dried fairy bits? Cyberman dandruff?

Anyway, what is important is the way glitter spreads. You know what it's like, it sticks to everything, it gets everywhere. If you get glitter on you, it will spread to other clothes and surfaces. If you got glitter on you in a nightclub while on holiday in London, you will find glitter in your house in Melbourne six months later.

It's like a living thing. It does this even though it is dry.

Baby poo has almost exactly the same properties as glitter.

Except baby poo is sticky.

Heehee Hee!

BWAHahahaha!

Within 48 hours of Jack being born I had been pooed on, wee-ed on and vomited on. Welcome to the gang mate. Your initiation has begun.

Finally something I know about!

Ohhhh this is FUN knowing about.. uhh, knowing about..poo.. =/ BUT! Don't worry! At least when the meuconium is out of the way, you have the real stuff to look forward to :D That, and breastfed baby poo generally doesn't smell as bad as (other).
Gah, I feel like a well-meaning but interfering in-law :P

*laughs*

I had conveniently fooled myself into forgetting those poop times.. :)

One thing I will never forget though. ALWAYS keep your mouth closed when changing a nappy. They are psychics.. They can and WILL aim. ;)

And after you get past the meconium stage, it will also be gloopy, so just watch how you wrap up the nappy before you bin it, else it will leak on your shoe and go right through to your socks (well, it did for me!)

My daughter loves Glitter. It is all over the house--someone at work one told me it was in my lunch. I am a parent, I just ate it.

Mica (rock flakes) or plastic, usually. I think it's some kind of electrostatic attraction that keeps glitter sticking to things. Hopefully Lex's meconium is not demonstrating electrostatic properties on a large scale. Otherwise I'd really wonder what Shaz was eating lately. Have you been feeding her batteries again?

Quotation of Plato

And what, Socrates, is the food of the soul? Surely, I said, knowledge is the food of the soul.
