You know glitter, little sparkly bits of... whatever glitter is made of. Crushed and dried fairy bits? Cyberman dandruff?

Anyway, what is important is the way glitter spreads. You know what it's like, it sticks to everything, it gets everywhere. If you get glitter on you, it will spread to other clothes and surfaces. If you got glitter on you in a nightclub while on holiday in London, you will find glitter in your house in Melbourne six months later.

It's like a living thing. It does this even though it is dry.

Baby poo has almost exactly the same properties as glitter.

Except baby poo is sticky.

Mica (rock flakes) or plastic, usually. I think it's some kind of electrostatic attraction that keeps glitter sticking to things. Hopefully Lex's meconium is not demonstrating electrostatic properties on a large scale. Otherwise I'd really wonder what Shaz was eating lately. Have you been feeding her batteries again?
