I posted recently about my headaches.
Today was good, because I didn't wake up with one. But just in the last twenty minutes, I've started to get weird visual distortions across my vision, severe enough that I found I could barely read through the patterns. No pain, but the pressure behind my right eye that means it will soon be knitting needle time again.
I've heard of people having visual cues pre-migraine before but never experienced it. I don't know about other people's but mine has shifted and changed slowly over time, and from about halfway through it was a bent, twisting shape across part of my vision. Very pretty!
Well, I think I'm off to grab a Neurofen or two, as the right eye is becoming more painful.

I was fascinated by the visual effect of the migraine though. It was kind of like black and white streamers spinning around each other in slow motion - so really pretty. Started in the middle of my vision, so to keep reading I had to rely partially on peripheral vision, then over about half an hour, it slowly moved and spread along the top left side of my vision, leaving the middle clear.
Plus the Neurofen worked. Didn't get the headache, just pressure and a lot of tiredness/vagueness.
