I posted recently about my headaches. Today was good, because I didn't wake up with one. But just in the last twenty minutes, I've started to get weird visual distortions across my vision, severe enough that I found I could barely read through the patterns. No pain, but the pressure behind my right eye that means it will soon be knitting needle time again.

I've heard of people having visual cues pre-migraine before but never experienced it. I don't know about other people's but mine has shifted and changed slowly over time, and from about halfway through it was a bent, twisting shape across part of my vision. Very pretty!

Well, I think I'm off to grab a Neurofen or two, as the right eye is becoming more painful.

Mikee gets the visual disturbances - it's his warning that in 30min the pain will start. He describes it as "oil slick" type distortions with sort of melting effects on what he is seeing. - He is clinically diagnised with migraines btw (inhertied from his father)

Me, I get tension headaches and find Mersyndol to be my savour. The relaxant in it is the only thing that helps to relieve the pain and allow me to sleep them off.
