Yeah, but you bloody changed your's to something from a Frank L Baum book, how many are there under the name you started with? I'm not sure how accurate that thing is anyway, I put my old penfriends name in there and it didn't come up, I just hope she hasn't been run over by a bus or anything, though of course she may have married or changed it for other reasons.
the algorithm isn't factually based.. it's "we know there's roughly X people named Smith in the US. We know they are roughly Y people named john. How many John Smiths in the population? then round it off. It probably underestimates the occurance of the name, because you won't get many Bartholemew Husseins, etc.

And please, if you're going to pick possible influences for my surname, go for Frank Oz. Still incorrect, but much more my style :)

According to the link you won't get any Bartholomew Husseins. They've got plenty of Husseins but the name Bartholomew isn't on their list at all.
They do have Bart, however, but they still don't even have any Bart Husseins:
"While both names you entered were found in our database, neither was common enough to make it likely that someone in the U.S. has that name."
Damn. I was hoping there'd be 0.85 Bart Husseins.
