Regarding the Klara and Edda Belly Dancing picture, and it being pulled from the exhibit for being considered child porn, what is interesting is the reaction from people. One of the things I'm seeing is a gender difference in the perception of what is 'okay'. I don't believe this picture would have had quite the same reaction if it'd been a naked boy with another boy. Okay, I don't care that no-one will believe I wasn't looking for any sort of porn when I found the Terminator shots. I also wasn't looking for porn when I found these shots of ( women having sex with 'Grey' aliens. NSFW )
I know a couple of people on here who will appreciate this. I drag myself to the supermarket to pick up a few things, and decide while there I better get some condoms. Shaz has been decidedly more amourous of late, and since we don't want her to go getting pregnant just yet, we're using condoms. ( So I try to buy a pack... )

So, had my visit. The team expressed sorrow at our loss, and said if I wasn't up to a donation we could reschedule, but I said we'd see how I went. As it was, no real issues, I didn't end up crying in the little room or anything. Made another appointment for Friday week and headed home.
When I got home, I finally explained to mum that I was a sperm donor. Had been meaning to for ages but kept putting it off because it was likely to end up in a long involved conversation about what being a sperm donor means, what it involves, etc.
With my mum.
Hit on the basic explanation that I'm donating semen so that couples who can't have babies might be able to, which I knew mum would get since that was the situation with her and dad. She seemed to get that immediately, gave me a great big hug, then offered me a hot chocolate and biscuits...
...because that's what they give you when you donate blood!

So, I went to bed before 9:30 tonight because I was exhausted and had to be up early in the morning to go to Canberra Fertility. I fell asleep wonderfully quickly, only to awake at 11 because I was too hot. I've been awake since. *grumble*

Chatted to a lovely young lady on the phone tonight. One of those rare people whose company I just can't get enough of. It was just chit-chat, but she managed to finish the convo with a couple of comments that, in spite of the fact I've had no sex drive since Thursday, left me slightly hot and bothered.

kaths, gutter_monkey, and swirlability. My dreams are getting crowded, but that's okay, they're all people I like hanging with.
I think the most amusing dream was the one with Guttermonkey. He ended up hiding from his mentor behind our kitchen counter. The mentor was an old asian man who looked a bit like Keye Luke. I still remember trying to steer the guy, away from the kitchen, while Guttermonkey kept popping up to peek over the top of the counter.

My day started after ten hours sleeping/dozing, and the second night in a row I've had nightmares. Weird. My camping spot wasn't as beautiful this time around, but it was far enough from the traffic that I wasn't disturbed by lights or noise. Not that that is usually an issue.
I paused today to check out Karalee Rocks which feed a dam that used to be used by railways, and Boorla rock which... was much the same. I think Karalee wins in my preferences for the four old rusting cars sitting just off the track. Though the Boorla track was shorter and smoother.
